Job Summary:
The Welder/Fabricator will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components with a focus on accuracy and quality. This role requires strong proficiency in MIG welding techniques, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders for various fabrication projects.
• Operate all welding equipment and tools such as grinders, cutters, and saws.
• Fabricate and assemble structural metal components according to precise specifications.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of proper PPE and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment or welding issues, making necessary adjustments as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or welding certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fabrication environment with a diverse range of tasks.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to precision in all work.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and a strong focus on safe working methods.
• Ability to measure and cut materials according to project specifications.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Shift Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm

Additional Pay: Opportunities for annual bonuses based on performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
