Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and fabrication, with the ability to work in a manufacturing environment. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using advanced welding methods while adhering to safety standards and industry codes. The position offers an opportunity to work with diverse materials such as sheet metal, utilizing power tools and hand tools to produce high-quality welds that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on various metals .
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing welds.
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors to prevent accidents.
• Maintain equipment and ensure work area cleanliness throughout the process.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in welding within construction sites or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in stick welding and torch cutting a must.
• Familiarity with power tools such as press brakes, grinders, drills, and soldering equipment.
• Experience with rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts is a plus.
• Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding practices.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Valid certifications in welding (preferred but not mandatory). This position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced welders eager to contribute their skills to complex projects requiring precision craftsmanship and adherence to industry standards.
• Must be able to travel to all of our locations.
• Second shift hours subject to change with production needs and break downs.
