Welder

CPT Engineering is a diverse, progressive and advanced manufacturing company.  A privately owned family business established for over 40 years with their Head Office in George Town, Tasmania and a branch in Dandenong South, Victoria.

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker / Welder to join our growing team in George Town.This role includes consistent production work alongside project-based fabrication.

Key responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of mild steel and stainless-steel components
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Workshop-based assembly and fabrication
• Production-based welding and fabrication tasks
• Contributing to safe, efficient workflow and output targets
• Maintaining high quality standards across all work

This role offers a strong mix of variety and structured production work across a diverse range of projects including infrastructure, renewables, industrial, and specialised fabrication.

You'll be part of a modern, well-equipped workshop where quality, safety and efficiency are core to how we operate.
