Welder - Delphos, OH

Principal Functions of the Position:

This position involves welding and material handling functions on various production parts and assemblies, as well as complying with all production, quality and safety standards. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. When not performing primary job duties, this individual may be assigned other tasks within the department as needed to support business operations and staffing needs.

Primary Welding Duties:

• Welds various types of sub-assemblies, component parts and finished equipment.
• Lift, maneuver, and set fixtures

Physical Demand:

• Full range of motion in arms, legs and shoulders
• Solid hand/eye coordination in order to properly assemble small components
• Ability to lift up to 50lbsAbility to climb into and out of confined spaces and access units/products during the welding process.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Able to successfully complete all applicable OSHA and company sponsored trainings

Pre- Requisitions:

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to count and verify parts and materials.

This area is periodically monitored for housekeeping and safety practices. Each welder is held accountable for maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work environment that minimizes risk of accidents and violations of safety standards. Operators will wear OSHA approved safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and hearing protection as defined federal, state and company standards.
