Salary: $75 000.00 - $85 000.00 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role

BM Webb Building Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our professional construction and maintenance team in Mount St John, QLD. Responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and repairs on a range of structural steel components, machinery parts, and metal assemblies. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel and metal components

· Read and interpret fabrication drawings, plans, and specifications

· Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment

· Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively

· Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project and industry standards

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment

· Work independently and as part of a workshop team to meet production deadlines

Skills and Experience Required

· Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification

· Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience

· Demonstrated proficiency in structural steel welding and fabrication

· Ability to interpret technical drawings

· Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

· Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
