Welder Fitter

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency with MIG welding and the ability to read and interpret drawings.

This role does include a quarterly profit sharing bonus on top of hourly rate.

Duties

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment for shaping metal components as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Occasionally help other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with welding and fitting duties.
• Previous experience with handrail fabrication preferred but not required.
