Welder - Short Term Project

What you'll be doing:

• Measure, mark and prep materials ready for welding
• Set up your gear , welding machines, gas torches, power tools
• Cut and prepare metal surfaces (grinding and other prep as needed)
• Assemble frames and structures to spec
• Weld using the right technique for the job
• Check your own work, every weld meets standard, finished product inspected for defects
• Keep your equipment and tools maintained and in good nick
• Stick to OH&S regulations on every job

What you'll need:

• Certificate/diploma in welding, or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Welding experience
• Skilled at using and maintaining welding equipment
• Solid knowledge of welding techniques and materials across different jobs

Pay: $42.00 – $47.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
