Welder - TIG

Experienced TIG Welder – Stainless Steel & Aluminum
Full-Time | Pay Range $28.00 - $35.00/hr, 40 hours week, plus overtime as needed

Job Description, General.

• TIG weld stainless steel and aluminum parts and assemblies to customer specifications
• Read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
• Design, build, or request weld fixtures as needed to control distortion and hold drawing dimensions
• Inspect your own work for dimensional accuracy and weld quality
• Work with engineering and production to solve fit-up and distortion issues
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional TIG welding experience on stainless steel and aluminum
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T basics
• Solid understanding of AWS weld symbols
• Experience with fixturing and controlling heat distortion
• Comfortable using measuring tools (calipers, tape, squares, height gauge, etc.)
• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Nice to Have

• AWS or other welding certifications
• Experience with thin-gauge material
• MIG welding or general fabrication experience
• Experience in [aerospace / medical / food-grade / semiconductor] work

Schedule: [Monday–Friday, 3:30pm – 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
