Welder/Fabricator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and be proficient in using hand tools and machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of our fabricated products, including ductwork and other metal components. Duties

• Perform welding tasks using various methods, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate press brake machines to shape and form metal parts.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment for precise cuts on metal sheets.
• Assemble ductwork and other structures as required.
• Conduct machining tasks to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• Use hand tools effectively for assembly and finishing processes.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes for material handling within the shop.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of different welding techniques.
• Familiarity with operating press brake machines and plasma cutting equipment is preferred.
• Experience in fabricating metal components and working with ductwork is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools proficiently for various tasks in the fabrication process.
• Knowledge of machining processes is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and practices while on the job.
