Welder/Fabricator

We are looking for skilled and versatile welder/fabricator who can take on a project from start to finish, ensuring all products are fabricated on time and to a high standard to join us in a permanent role at our busy and fast-moving business located in Saffron Walden.

Welder Duties:-

• MIG coded
• TIG welding would be an advantage
• Fabricating staircases, balustrades and structural steel products
• Using various hand tools
• Using Guillotines, band saws, CNC plasma, Brake presses and punch to fabricate

Skills and experience needed for the Welder role:

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• MIG welder with a proven track record
• Use own initiative and take pride in your work
• Must know how to use engineering machinery and power tools
• Experience within structural/architectural steel welding
• Must have driving licence

Benefits

• The role is paying £16-18PH and the standard hours of work are 8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime available during our busy periods
• 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
