Aspen Waste Systems of Minnesota, Inc. is seeking an experienced and qualified Welder/Fabricator to join Aspen’s container shop in Eagan, Minnesota.

Aspen Waste Systems is a privately-owned, growing company providing waste and recycling collection services for commercial and residential customers in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00/hour.

What you’ll do:

Welding/fabrication and repair of a variety of items including waste and recycling containers, and waste vehicle equipment.
Designing and fabricating equipment and parts.
Maintaining routine inventory supplies that are used for operating the welding unit via inspection of stocks and ordering fresh stock when required.
Read and interpret project plans and other written instructions or diagrams to perform assigned tasks.
Comply with all Safety Requirements to maintain safe work area for you and your co-workers.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
2 years welding and fabrication experience or a 2-year welding diploma or degree program from a community college or technical program or work experience directly related to welding or steel fabrication preferred
Fabrication experience a plus
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skill
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of industry safety practices
Must be 18 years of age or older.
