Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality products that meet precise specifications.

Duties

• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
• Fabricate custom components by measuring, cutting, and assembling metal parts according to detailed drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts to ensure adherence to safety standards and project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in the development of fabrication plans and contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Mig welding and general fabrication processes.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment used in sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and understanding technical specifications.
• Familiarity with assembly processes involving metal components.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance throughout all tasks.

Pay: £15.50-£17.50 per hour
