The Opportunity

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Welding Department.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for welding and assembling metal components used in our heating systems, ensuring strong, consistent, and high-quality welds.
This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys working with metal, takes pride in craftsmanship, and values accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld steel components and parts according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG welding).
• Ensure weld quality, strength, and proper fit of parts.
• Perform basic grinding or finishing as required.
• Inspect welded parts for defects and report quality issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding work area.
• Follow all safety procedures related to welding equipment and materials.
• Support the production team in meeting daily welding and production targets.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is an asset (training may be provided for the right candidate).
• Basic understanding of welding equipment, tools, and shop safety practices.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lb.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
