Job Description – Fabrication Welder

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabrication Welder with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial fabrication, welding, and assembly work. The candidate should be capable of performing quality welding as per engineering drawings and ensuring safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding as per job requirements.
• Carry out fabrication and welding of MS and SS structures, frames, brackets, and machine components.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Perform cutting, grinding, fit-up, alignment, and finishing operations.
• Ensure weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and timely completion of jobs.
• Inspect welded components and rectify welding defects when required.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during all operations.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI in Welder trade or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of hands-on industrial fabrication and welding experience.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, or Arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of material handling, grinding, cutting, and fitting.
• Good attention to detail, discipline, and teamwork.
