Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, forming, and welding sheet metal to build custom parts and assemblies. You’ll use MIG and TIG welding techniques, follow detailed drawings, and ensure every project meets our quality standards and deadlines.You may occasionally have to assist in other departments if there’s no welding work.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Mig & Tig welding
• Simple corner welding through complex frame assembly
• Prototypes through production quantities
• Steel, stainless steel and aluminum
• Some grinding (in process grinding required on assemblies)

Skills/Qualifications:

• Mig & Tig welding of steel, stainless steel & aluminum
• Knowledge of welding construction methodologies; jigs & fixtures, material movement, welding sequences, etc. to achieve desired dimensions, squareness, straightness
• Welding of light sheet metal through plate and structural tubing
• Blue print reading
• Measuring equipment (including dial calipers)
• Close tolerance work to +/-.005 in.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
