Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications.

Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of parts.
• Utilise basic maths skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances for fabrication tasks.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Experience

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Familiarity with various welding techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively within a workshop environment.
• A commitment to safety practices and maintaining a safe working environment is crucial.
