A manufacturing company in Southeast Houston is currently looking for an experienced MIG and TIG welder-fitter who will be integral to the fabrication team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Constantly inspect and test weld equipment; check for durability as well as meeting specification standards; equipment must be examined to determine if repairs or new equipment are needed.

• Able to weld using stainless, galvanized, and aluminum materials
• Knowledge of industry safety practices
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
• Know how to rearrange components
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products
• Can securely position bolts, clamps, and tack-weld parts for welding
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Qualification:

• Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 years of experience
• Fabrication certification preferred
• Must be able to operate a MIG and TIG welder safely
• Lift 50lbs safely
• Ability to use heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes
• Welder/fitter experience highly preferred
