Overview
We're looking for a skilled, dependable Fabricator/Welder who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently in a small-shop environment. We're looking for someone who can contribute to daily production, solve problems, and help us deliver quality products to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the industry, with the ability to work on various projects using different tools and techniques while utilizing critical thinking skills.

Duties

• Weld and fabricate metal components together according to codes and standards
• Assemble fabricated metal parts to build structures or assemblies
• Utilize hand tools for various fabrication tasks

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in TIG welding aluminum (and stainless steel preferred, not required)
• Proven minimum of 2 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure, calipers, and other measuring tools; including but not limited to calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and work through problems independently.
• Good time management, reliability, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of shop safety practices and proper equipment use.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a fabrication shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment.
• Experience operating a press brake.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

• An onsite welding and fabrication test will be required as part of the hiring process
• A preemployment drug test is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
