Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Welders and Fitters to join our steel fabrication team. Candidates should have hands-on experience welding, fitting, and assembling structural steel or miscellaneous metal components in a fabrication shop environment.

We are interested in candidates with strong welding skills, fitting experience, or both.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Perform MIG (GMAW), flux-core (FCAW), and/or stick (SMAW) welding.
• Fit, align, tack, and assemble steel components according to fabrication drawings.
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
• Inspect welds and fabricated assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Operate standard fabrication equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding or steel fitting experience preferred.
• Experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or industrial fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
• Experience with MIG, flux-core, or stick welding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and workmanship.

Compensation & Benefits

• $22.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
