Welding Engineer

We are looking for a Welding Engineer to join our Engineering team and support welding qualification, welding development, and engineering projects. This role will be responsible for ensuring welding-related projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with customer and company requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop welding processes, resolve technical issues, improve manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute assigned welding qualification and development projects.
• Coordinate project activities with relevant departments to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and requirements.
• Perform and support welding qualification, welding process development, and validation.
• Develop and maintain Welding Work Instructions (WI), checklists, and related technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for welding-related issues.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and other related departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Engineering Manager.
• Support material and component purchasing activities for assigned projects and coordinate with the Purchasing team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Engineering team in achieving departmental goals and implementing improvement plans.
• Lead and coordinate assigned projects with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in welding or a related engineering field.
• Knowledge and experience in welding processes, welding qualification, and welding development.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Good technical and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in leading or coordinating a small team is an advantage.
• Good command of English is preferred.
• Proactive, self-motivated, responsible, and result-oriented.
