Position: Welding Machine Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control-system problems in welding machines.

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspection, cleaning, servicing, testing, and preventive maintenance of welding machines and accessories.

• Installation & Testing: Install, set up, test, and commission welding machines and related equipment.

• Repair & Parts Replacement: Replace defective components such as cables, switches, connectors, cooling systems, circuit boards, and other machine parts as required.

• Documentation & Safety: Maintain maintenance records, report recurring machine problems, and follow safety procedures including proper PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical course.

• At least 2 years of experience in welding machine maintenance or industrial equipment repair is preferred.

• Knowledge of MIG/MAG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW, or resistance welding machines is an advantage.

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic troubleshooting.

• Able to use a multimeter, clamp meter, and other diagnostic tools.

• Able to read electrical/wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Welding-related TESDA certification or technical certification is an advantage.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Safety-conscious, reliable, and willing to work overtime or shifting schedules when required.
