Welding Process Engineer

1. Responsible for the feasibility analysis of welding processes and the design of process technology planning.
2. Technical support and control of welding processes during the production process;
3. Responsible for the welding production line plan, bidding technical requirements, countersigning, per-acceptance, installation and commissioning, trial production, final acceptance, etc..
4. Improve and enhance the welding process, and achieving process quality indicators.
5. Design, maintain, and update welding process data, and providing assistance in the preparation of work instructions.
6. Responsible for the delivery of process documents, process training, process inspection, and supervision.
7. Prepare and review the technical demonstration and standard establishment of welding main and auxiliary materials for automotive products;
8. Support the welding production process control capability.
9. Manage of design changes.
10. Responsible for the construction of relevant standards and specifications in the field of automotive welding.
11. Participate in the new model development workshop.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive welding engineering, preferably in an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience in welding production line design, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
4. Strong knowledge of automotive welding processes, quality standards, and IATF 16949 requirements.
5. Familiar with Automotive Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
6. Proficient in CATIA, AutoCAD/CAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
8. Good command of English and Thai; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
