Welding Process Engineer

We are looking for a Welding Process Engineer to join our Process Engineering team.

The position will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of welding processes, working closely with the Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other related departments to ensure the efficiency, quality, and productivity of manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Conversational English and Spanish (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of or experience with welding processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of welding parameters, operating methods, and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to commute to Marín, Nuevo León.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and improvement of welding processes.
• Analyze welding process issues and follow up on corrective and improvement actions.
• Monitor and optimize welding parameters to improve process quality and efficiency.
• Prepare, update, and standardize work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to the Production team to resolve welding process-related issues.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to identify and resolve welding defects.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce waste, and minimize defects.
• Monitor performance indicators related to welding processes.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure process stability and efficiency.
• Support the implementation of new processes, equipment, and manufacturing improvements.

Sueldo: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 al mes
