Welding / Fabrication Contractor — Warehouse Storage & Mezzanines

We’re seeking an experienced welding and fabrication contractor to help plan, fabricate, and install storage structures and mezzanines in a couple of areas of our warehouse in Taos.

We are in the early planning stage and do not yet have drawings. We’re looking for someone who can visit the space, discuss our needs, recommend practical layouts, and help coordinate the design and engineering needed to bring the project through installation.

We will provide all materials. The contractor will invoice us for hours worked, and we’ll work together to establish the project schedule and timeline. We anticipate several months of work.

Project scope:

• Visit the warehouse and take measurements.
• Work with us to develop layouts for storage structures and mezzanine platforms.
• Coordinate with a qualified structural engineer for structural design and any required stamped plans.
• Help identify materials needed and plan the sequence of work.
• Fabricate and install steel components, coordinating any required permits and inspections.

Ideal qualifications:

• Strong welding and steel fabrication experience.
• Previous mezzanine, elevated platform, or comparable structural steel projects.
• Appropriate New Mexico contractor licensing and insurance.
• Ability to help move a project from initial concept through completed installation.
• Reliable communication and references from similar work.
