Welfare Cleaner - Cwmbran

We're looking for an experienced individual who can complete welfare cleaning for our client in Cwmbran. The site has recently started, so initially we're looking for someone who can do Tuesdays and Fridays, 2 hours per day, so 4 hours per week to start with.
There is room to grow with additional days/ hours as the site gets busier.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our welfare facilities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of all staff and visitors, ensuring that hygiene standards are consistently met.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of welfare areas, including restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common spaces, following established cleaning protocols.
• Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other essentials to maintain readiness at all times.
• Dispose of waste responsibly while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues requiring reporting.
• Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any incidents or concerns observed during shifts.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills for reporting issues clearly and working effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is highly desirable.

Pay: £16.00 per hour
