About the Role We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one support to a young person with complex and high support needs.

You will help create a safe, positive and structured environment while supporting the client with their daily routines, participation in the community and development of independence.

Shifts will mainly involve school pick-ups and drop-offs, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking for consistent, meaningful support work.

About YouWe would love to hear from you if you:

• Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health & Wellbeing qualification
• Have experience supporting children or young people
• Have NZ experience working with clients with complex or high support needs
• Live in or near Paraparaumu, Wellington
• Hold a full NZ driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
• Are preferably confident driving a mobility van
• Are calm, patient, flexible and reliable
• Can establish and maintain clear and consistent boundaries
• Are comfortable providing one-to-one support
• Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
• Bring a positive, respectful and encouraging approach to your work

Applicant Requirements

• Preference for candidates living in Paraparaumu or nearby areas
• NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa
• Health & Wellbeing Certificate Level 3 or above
• Minimum 1 year of NZ experience supporting clients in a community-based setting
• Full NZ driver’s license
• Access to a reliable vehicle
