What they need

Alleve, Aberdeen | Sundays, 9:15 am–8:15 pm

About Alleve

Alleve is a modern wellness centre offering float therapy, Finnish sauna and cold plunge experiences. We’ve been helping people reset and recover in Aberdeen, and we’re looking for a new part-time team member to join us.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a space spotless, enjoys providing thoughtful customer care, and feels confident running the centre independently. We’d especially love to hear from someone who enjoys social media and would be excited to help showcase Alleve online.

Hours

One regular Sunday shift: 9:15 am–8:15 pm.

This is one long shift spanning 11 hours, so please make sure these hours suit you before applying. Reliability and consistent Sunday availability are essential, with opportunities to cover occasional additional shifts.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role combining customer care, cleaning, day-to-day operations and social media.

This is a lone-working role: you will be the only team member on site during your shift. You’ll need to be comfortable taking responsibility for the centre, including opening and closing, preparing rooms, managing bookings and keeping sessions running safely and on time.

Cleaning and maintaining our facilities is a substantial part of the job. Alongside creating a calm, welcoming experience for guests, you’ll need to be happy getting stuck into practical tasks and keeping standards high throughout the day.

Main Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and facility care: Maintaining spotless float rooms, sauna, cold plunge and communal areas. Tasks include cleaning tanks and plunges, changing filters, draining water, and balancing salt and chemical levels.
  • Customer care: Welcoming guests, explaining their sessions clearly, answering questions and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
  • Independent centre management: Opening and closing, managing bookings, emails, phone calls and payments, and handling day-to-day issues calmly and responsibly.
  • Memberships and sales: Helping customers find suitable sessions, packages and memberships through friendly conversations and follow-ups.
  • Social media and content creation: Helping bring Alleve’s experience to life online by creating photos, short videos, Stories and Reels, and responding to messages through Meta Business Suite. We’d love someone who enjoys coming up with ideas and takes the initiative to capture engaging content while respecting guests’ privacy and keeping customer care a priority.

What We’re Looking For

  • High standards for cleanliness and a willingness to carry out regular, hands-on cleaning and maintenance.
  • Confidence working alone, taking initiative and managing responsibilities independently.
  • A friendly, professional manner and strong customer communication skills.
  • A real enthusiasm for social media, with an eye for engaging content and a willingness to get creative. Experience with Instagram, Canva or Meta Business Suite would be a bonus.
  • An interest in wellness, recovery and helping people feel their best.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using email and booking systems.
  • A first-aid certificate, or willingness to complete a short one-day course.
  • Reliable availability for the full Sunday shift and willingness to help with occasional cover.

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Commission on package and membership sales
  • Casual uniform
  • Staff discount and access to free float, sauna and cold plunge sessions
  • A calm wellness setting and a supportive team

Interested?

We’d love to hear from you if you enjoy keeping a space spotless, making people feel welcome and creating content that helps others discover wellness.

Please send your CV and a short introduction explaining why the role appeals to you, and confirm that you can regularly work Sundays from 9:15 am to 8:15 pm. If you have examples of social media content you’ve created, feel free to include them—we’d love to see your ideas and style.
