About the role

We are seeking a Wellness Manager to join our team in Jakarta on a full-time basis. This is a strategic management position responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing comprehensive wellness programmes and initiatives across our hospitality operations. As Wellness Manager, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our wellness offerings, ensuring guests receive world-class health and wellbeing services whilst creating a culture of wellness amongst our staff. This role is essential to our commitment to differentiate our brand in the competitive hospitality and tourism sector.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive wellness strategies and programmes that align with company objectives and guest expectations
• Managing wellness facilities, services and amenities, including spas, fitness centres, meditation areas and health consultation services
• Overseeing wellness staff recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management to ensure consistent service excellence
• Creating and curating wellness-focused offerings such as yoga classes, fitness programmes, nutritional guidance and holistic therapies
• Monitoring guest feedback and satisfaction related to wellness services, implementing improvements based on insights and suggestions
• Collaborating with department heads to integrate wellness initiatives throughout guest experiences and employee wellness programmes
• Managing wellness budgets, vendor relationships and procurement of equipment, supplies and services
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards specific to wellness facilities and treatments
• Developing marketing and promotional materials to promote wellness services and increase guest participation
• Tracking key performance indicators and providing regular reports on wellness programme effectiveness and return on investment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in wellness management, spa management or a similar hospitality management role
• Strong knowledge of wellness trends, holistic health practices, fitness programmes and spa operations
• Proven experience developing and managing wellness budgets and achieving financial targets
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Demonstrable experience in guest service delivery and enhancing customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Indonesian
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly those relevant to wellness facilities
• Certification or qualification in wellness management, hospitality management or a related field is highly desirable
• Experience with wellness technology platforms and booking systems is preferred
• Passion for holistic health, sustainability and creating positive guest experiences
