Duties

• Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety are maintained at all times
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing customer orders and payments
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, following food safety protocols
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Assist with food handling procedures, including proper storage and preparation techniques to meet health regulations

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with flexibility for various shifts

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
