Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food preparation stations, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Assist in food safety management by following sanitation protocols and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
• Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive work environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with knowledge of food preparation and customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and collaborating with team members.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
