Duties

• Greet customers warmly and engage with them via the drive-thru window or speaker system
• Accurately take and input customer orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen staff
• Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining accuracy in order taking
• Follow all restaurant policies related to food industry regulations, sanitation, and safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on customer interaction
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Aloha POS or similar platforms
• Strong cashiering skills including cash handling and basic math for transactions and change calculation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively
• Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required
• Effective communication skills to clearly take orders and interact with team members
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience

Pay: $17.95 per hour
