Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move stock efficiently.
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring timely delivery and order accuracy.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies using data entry skills and basic math knowledge.
• Support shipping logistics by coordinating shipments, processing shipping & receiving documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, packaging products securely, and adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members on warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics coordination.

Skills

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Experience with warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment techniques.
• Ability to operate forklift trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math abilities for inventory tracking and adjustments.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of packaging techniques, order picking & packing methods, and load & unload operations.
