About the Role We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Wet Process Operator to join our production team. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the receipt and processing of milk products delivered to site, operating and monitoring plant equipment to ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dairy or food manufacturing who enjoys working in a structured, safety‑driven environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment and processing machinery
• Manage:
  • Raw milk silos
  • Liquid exports
  • UF & RO systems
  • Dry and liquid standardisation processes
  • Standardised silos
• Optimise plant performance in accordance with product specifications
• Conduct routine pre‑start checks and regular equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, safety, and quality records
• Take product samples and complete required testing and assessments
• Perform data entry, reporting, and basic analysis
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene
• Participate in improvement projects focused on reducing waste and improving efficiencies
• Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify and report hazards or issues

What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating and maintaining equipment in a dairy or food manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current full driver’s licence
• Ability to work shift rotations (where applicable)
• Willingness to adapt as operational needs evolve
