WFH Construction Estimator (Bluebeam)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for Construction Estimator (Bluebeam) to serve as a remote extension of a high-performing construction office team, taking direct ownership of the technical documentation and estimation work that keeps large civil projects moving. You will interpret construction drawings, run quantity takeoffs, manage submittals, and process change orders with precision — ensuring nothing falls through the cracks on government and municipal contracts where accuracy is non-negotiable. This role gives you real responsibility from day one and clear potential to grow as your performance proves itself.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible, Central Daylight Time (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications to support active job sites.
• Prepare and manage submittals and project documentation for municipal and government contracts.
• Perform quantity takeoffs to estimate linear footage, cubic yards, and material requirements.
• Quantify and document change orders with accurate measurements and cost implications.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure timely processing of construction paperwork.
• Support project managers with day-to-day construction office administration tasks.

Requirements

• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or takeoff estimating software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for tracking quantities, costs, and project data.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
