WFH Data Specialist - SQL & Excel

Overview

Our client is looking for a Data Specialist - SQL & Excel who is passionate about data accuracy and analysis to join their rapidly growing global team of retail experts, engineers, and data scientists. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, analyzing, and monitoring customer data using various tools and technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional team members to interpret client queries and ensure data integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday / Full-time - 40 Hours per week / 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Melbourne Time, with 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities:

• Maintain & monitor customer data to ensure accuracy
• Overlay analysis and settings using internal tools on customer data
• Validate and interpret client queries and data using tools like Excel, SQL and internal tools
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure data queries are resolved in a timely manner

Requirements:

• 2+ years relevant professional industry experience and a tertiary qualification in one of these domains: IT, engineering, mathematics or actuarial
• Experience querying data with SQL
• The ideal candidate should be a team player and have great attention to details
• Proficient in Excel and its features such as pivot table, lookup/match formulas and filters
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised, able to multitask and manage priority well in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools and analytics platforms will be an advantage
