WFH Driver Onboarding and Training Coordinator (Salesforce)

Job Overview:

Our client is looking for aDriver Onboarding and Training Coordinator to support drivers through their journey from novice to fully qualified driver. This role is all about people, working closely with nationwide training centres and clients to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for welcoming customers, managing bookings, updating systems, and providing empathetic support to drivers throughout their 3-month to 1-year training process, including handling challenging situations when drivers need extra assistance.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM BST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming the customer to the training programme (by phone) and explaining the process
• Ensuring that all details are accurate, and the CRM system is updated
• Posting application forms, sending welcome packs, and handling general admin associated with training
• Booking the required courses with training centres efficiently and accurately
• Guiding customers if they have any queries/concerns or need support
• Keeping up to date with all product knowledge relating to the company's industry

Requirements:

• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Salesforce CRM is essential
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
• Negotiation skills, fast and accurate typing skills, and good overall admin skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Enjoy dealing with people and be motivated by helping people achieve their aims
• An interest in the haulage industry is a significant advantage
