Job Overview

Our client is seeking a versatile E-Commerce Packaging Graphic Designer to lead visual brand creation across both physical and digital touchpoints. In this role, you will design eye-catching product packaging, static promotional graphics, short-form video edits, and occasional AI-assisted content fillers. You will work directly alongside the team's Digital Marketer to produce high-converting creative assets for marketing campaigns, social media, and web promotions. The ideal candidate prioritizes authentic, custom human creative design while possessing the modern AI toolset to produce quick, supplementary visual edits when required.

Client Overview

Our client is an emerging e-commerce brand expanding its online platform, product line, and visual marketing infrastructure. Focused on delivering an exceptional brand experience, they are onboarding a creative, detail-oriented remote Graphic Designer to produce high-impact brand packaging, digital media, and promotional assets while collaborating closely with their internal Digital Marketer.

Flexible during Perth business hours (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Design professional print-ready product packaging, labels, unboxing materials, and physical brand inserts.
• Create high-converting static digital assets, including social media posts, email templates, web banners, and promotional campaign visuals.
• Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketer to supply all necessary visual graphics for active ad campaigns, landing pages, and website updates.
• Maintain strict brand guidelines, typography standards, and color palettes across all physical and digital collateral.
• Edit engaging short-form videos and reels optimized for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts).
• Generate and refine occasional AI video/graphic edits (approx. 20% of workload) as visual fillers to supplement primary custom designs.
• Retouch product photos, construct high-quality product mockups, and prepare digital files for production and multi-channel publishing.

Requirements

• Strong visual portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand packaging design, static promo graphics, and short-form video editing.
• Proven ability to work alongside digital marketers to design goal-oriented promotional assets.
• Deep commitment to authentic, non-AI graphic craftsmanship, paired with the technical capability to incorporate AI video edits (~20% scale) when requested.
• Strong understanding of print specifications, die-lines, color spaces (CMYK vs. RGB), and physical packaging production standards.
• Strong verbal and written English skills for effective collaboration and quick revision turnarounds.
