WFH Video Editor & Content Creator - Optometry/Eyecare

Overview

Our client is looking for a creative Video Editor & Content Creator - Optometry/Eyecare to take full ownership of content production for a UK-based, optometrist-founded eyecare brand built on clinical credibility and authenticity. In this role, you will work alongside the founder to transform professional insights into compelling, educational social media videos. You will help establish the visual direction, manage the end-to-end workflow, and eventually lead the content creation process independently. It is an incredible opportunity to shape an expert voice in eyecare while exercising full creative freedom.

Schedule:

• Part-Time ( 20 hours per week ) flexible during client business hours, Greenwich Mean Time

Responsibilities

• Edit and compile video footage into polished content ready for upload across multiple social media platforms
• Create engaging B-roll footage that supports authority-led messaging from the optometrist founder
• Develop and execute creative direction for content that aligns with the brand's professional and authentic voice
• Work collaboratively with the founder during the initial phase to understand brand standards and content strategy
• Transition to independent content production while maintaining quality and brand consistency
• Adapt content formats and styles to suit different social media channels
• Ensure all content maintains the professional credibility expected from an optometrist-led brand
• Manage the full content production workflow from raw footage to final published content

Requirements

• 1-2 years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative capability
• Proven ability to create engaging B-roll and compile compelling video content
• Strong creative vision and ability to develop content direction independently
• Experience editing content for social media platforms
• Proficiency with professional video editing tools of your choice
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining brand alignment
• Strong organizational skills to manage content production workflows
