WFH Voice Content Moderator

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Voice Content Moderator to ensure a safe and positive environment for users on a children's gaming platform. In this role, the agent will monitor shared voice lobbies in real-time, actively listening to live voice chats between players. The primary focus is to identify and immediately address rule violations, abuse of privileges, toxic behavior, and bullying. The agent must accurately enforce community guidelines by muting, removing, or banning offending users on the spot. This is a voice-only moderation role with no visual or video monitoring involved.

Schedule: 1:00 AM - 7:00 PM Central Time (US); Full-time role

Responsibilities:

• Monitor shared voice lobbies in real-time and actively listen to live voice chats between players.
• Identify and immediately address rule violations, privilege abuse, toxic behavior, and bullying.
• Accurately enforce community guidelines by muting, removing, or banning offending users on the spot.
• Maintain sharp concentration and active listening in a fast-paced, audio-only environment.
• Make swift, unbiased decisions to uphold platform safety standards under pressure.

Requirements:

• Advanced English Comprehension: Exceptional English listening skills to accurately catch and interpret fast-paced, overlapping conversations.
• Cultural & Slang Fluency: Strong understanding of current North American English slang, internet culture, and gaming terminology to detect subtle bullying or inappropriate language.
• Decisiveness & Objectivity: Ability to make split-second, unbiased decisions to enforce rules under pressure.
• High Focus & Active Listening: Capability to maintain sharp concentration in a chaotic, audio-only environment for extended periods.
• Emotional Resilience: Ability to remain professional and detached when exposed to toxic, abusive, or rule-breaking behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Trust & Safety or content moderation.
