Life Plus is looking for experienced support workers in Kawakawa or Whangarei to provide one-to-one support to a private adult client with complex support needs.

About the RoleThis is an opportunity to provide consistent, respectful and professional support to an individual who values privacy, independence and dignity.

You will assist with daily routines, personal care, mobility, community participation and other support needs, while encouraging independence and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

We are looking for someone who can build a professional and trusting working relationship, respect personal boundaries and provide reliable support tailored to the client’s individual needs.

About YouWe would love to hear from you if you:

• Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health & Wellbeing qualification
• Ideally has experience supporting adults with spinal cord injury or complex or high support needs
• Have at least 1 year of NZ experience in a community-based support role
• Hold a full NZ driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
• Are calm, patient, respectful and reliable
• Understand the importance of privacy, confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Are confident working independently in a one-to-one support environment
