Whatnot Live Sales Host (Part-Time)

Overview

We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person to host live sales events on Whatnot and help sell excess inventory through live online auctions.

Compensation

• $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)
• Plus 5% commission based on total sales generated through live auctions

Duties

• Host engaging live sales sessions on the Whatnot platform, demonstrating products with enthusiasm and clarity
• Host live Whatnot auctions during evening hours.
• Pick up products from our warehouse in Akron, Ohio before live streams.
• Learn our product catalog and confidently discuss features, benefits, and selling points during live sales.
• Present products in an engaging, informative, and entertaining manner.
• Answer customer questions in real time and help drive sales.
• Organize and prepare products for upcoming streams.

Products Include:

• Faucets
• Showerheads
• Door and cabinet hardware
• Home improvement products
• Other excess inventory and closeout items

Qualifications:

• Comfortable on camera and interacting with live audiences.
• Strong communication and sales skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to our Akron warehouse to pick up products.
• Willingness to become familiar with products featured on our website, National Hardlines, and speak knowledgeably about their benefits.
• Experience with live selling, social media, Whatnot, TikTok Shop, or similar platforms is a plus, but not required.

Schedule:

• Part-time
• Primarily evening hours (7-11pm)
• Flexible schedule based on live auction events

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
