Wheel Technician

Perfect Vehicle Preparation are looking for a Wheel Technician to join our team based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is 45 hours per week offering an hourly rate of £19 per hour.

This role will be a key part of the vehicle cosmetic rectification process, working to a defined customer standard with the skills required to fulfill all aspects of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refurbishing alloy wheels to a defined, high-quality standard in readiness for the car for retail.
• Be skilled in and competent with machinery and techniques to complete repairs including painting, chrome effect painting, polishing and diamond cutting (training provided) to bring wheels to a high-quality standard.
• Ensuring all relevant system / paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Understands the needs of both customers and the Company and demonstrates this in their work.
• Takes ownership in all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self-management.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team, supporting and assisting colleagues, as required.
• You may be required to undertake other duties to meet business requirements and setting, including working alongside other departments.
• Comply with all Health and Safety instructions and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others who may be working or entering the work area and report all hazards to your line manager.

Licence/Certification:
