- Follow up regularly with vendors and factories to confirm production timelines, sample approvals, and shipping schedules
- Maintain and update production calendars and status trackers to reflect current order status
- Escalate at-risk orders (late production, missed milestones, quality issues) to the Production Manager in a timely manner
- Communicate with internal teams (merchandising, design, logistics) to relay updated timelines or changes to orders
- Assist with maintaining vendor files, including compliance documents, costing sheets, and order history
- Support the Production Manager with administrative tasks related to sourcing and production as needed
- Help reconcile PO details against invoices and shipping documents
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, or a related supply chain role (internship experience considered)
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM or ERP systems a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for regular vendor correspondence
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working across time zones with overseas vendors and factories
