Wholesale Training Leader

Objective: Lead product presentations with the company’s B2B sales team, covering espresso based beverages, and specialty coffee drip brewing.  Deliver in-depth preparation methods and best-practice features and benefits concepts on the company’s key partner brands (Cimbali and Slayer).  This role requires excellent communication, organization and influencer skills.  The Wholesale Training Leader must be able to organize and coordinate training sessions for customers, including ‘Crafted by CoffeeWORKS’ curated training workshops for key hotel and coffee chain clients.

Core Functions:

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of espresso coffee and milk preparation skills
• Develop and update training materials
• Conduct regularly scheduled education events and document sessions
• Help to maintain the company’s training facility
• Assist activities supporting the regional sales team as assigned
• Lead CoffeeWORKS in-house sales and business development events for key accounts
• Assist running coffee industry trade-show events and event marketing activities as assigned
• Act as a brand ambassador for each of CoffeeWORKS’ partner brands for both internal and external stakeholders, especially with the Cimbali and Slayer brands.
• Maintain a strong understanding and presentation capability of each partner brand’s history, trends, and up-to-date knowledge of brand sales performance throughout Thailand.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of both the Thai and global commercial coffee markets.

Preferred background:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with English proficiency of at least 650 TOEFL
• Minimum 2-years work experience in the specialty coffee industry (retail or wholesale) is preferred
• Previous educational and/or work experience aptitude that demonstrates effective presentation, training, and communication skills
• Effective mixture of detail-oriented quality control mindset combined with effective people / motivational skills
