Key responsibilities

- Maintain oversight of incidents, hazards, near misses and corrective actions, ensuring outstanding actions are followed through.
- Manage central records for licences, qualifications, competencies, training and certifications.
- Coordinate WHS consultation processes, including the Health & Safety Committee.
- Identify trends, gaps and opportunities to strengthen WHS systems across the business.
- Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
- Provide clear WHS reporting to senior management.
About you
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or higher, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant WHS experience in a coordination, systems or compliance role.
- Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and improving WHS systems, policies and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice.
- Strong organisational, written communication and document-management skills.
- The ability to monitor multiple compliance requirements and drive actions through to completion.
- A practical, collaborative approach to working with operational managers and teams.
- Experience in landscaping, construction, civil works, trades, maintenance or another field-based environment will be highly regarded, as will experience with workers' compensation, return-to-work coordination and contractor management.
