The Opportunity

Interflex Group is looking for an experienced Wide Web Flexographic Printer to join our production team at our Sunderland site. This is a full-time role working a continental shift pattern, offering a salary of £43,370 per annum.

Interflex Group is a leading supplier of printed and converted flexible packaging materials to the UK and European food industry. Our Sunderland facility produces high-quality flexible packaging across flexographic print, laminates, coatings, bags and slit reel products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating a wide web flexographic printing press safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Setting up jobs in line with production schedules, customer specifications, design laysheets and colour standards.
• Checking materials, film specifications, plates, anilox sleeves and rollers before and during production.
• Monitoring print quality throughout each run and taking action to minimise defects, downtime and waste.
• Completing production records, labels, paperwork and traceability information accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, safety and environmental compliance in the print area.

About You

• Previous experience operating a wide web flexographic press is essential.
• A strong eye for detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Good communication, organisation and time management skills.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong safety awareness.
• Flexibility to work a continental shift pattern.
