Experienced Window & Door Installation Carpenter

Pay: $25–$40/hour, depending on experience
Location: Baker City & Eastern Oregon

Central Oregon Residential Services LLC is seeking an experienced Window & Door Installation Carpenter to join our installation crew serving Baker City and the surrounding Eastern Oregon area.

Previous professional window and door installation experience is required. This is not an entry-level or general labor position.

We are looking for experienced installers who can perform residential window and door replacements correctly, efficiently, and with a high level of finish quality. This position will involve travel to project locations throughout the Eastern Oregon service area.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing windows and doors and properly prepare openings for replacement units
• Install residential windows and exterior doors according to manufacturer specifications
• Accurately measure, level, square, shim, fasten, and adjust window and door units
• Properly flash, weatherproof, insulate, and seal installations
• Complete interior and exterior trim and finish work associated with installations
• Identify and correct installation issues and unexpected field conditions
• Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation process
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Perform quality-control checks to ensure proper operation, fit, finish, and weather sealing
• Work efficiently as part of a professional installation crew

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Professional window and door installation experience is required
• Experience with replacement/remodel window and door installations
• Strong understanding of proper flashing, waterproofing, sealing, shimming, and fastening methods
• Experience removing existing windows and doors without unnecessary damage to surrounding finishes
• Strong residential carpentry and trim skills
• Ability to accurately measure and evaluate existing window and door openings
• Proficiency with standard carpentry hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot out-of-square, damaged, or otherwise challenging existing openings
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying windows and doors
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Professional appearance and communication when working in occupied homes
• Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work
• Ability and willingness to travel to job sites throughout Baker City and Eastern Oregon

Pay

$25–$40 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Higher compensation is available for highly experienced installers and candidates capable of taking on crew-lead responsibilities.

Applicants without professional window and door installation experience will not be considered.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
