Location: Charleston, SC

Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour plus overtime

Job description:
Henselstone Services LLC is looking for an energetic and reliable Window & Door Installer to join our Charleston, SC installation crew. You will work as part of a team installing high-end European windows and doors on residential and commercial projects. This position requires heavy lifting and a strong desire to learn. Construction experience is welcome, and we will train the right person.

Job Summary:
Our work involves highly customized European window and door systems, including large-format lift-and-slide units, hurricane-rated assemblies, and high-performance, energy efficient building envelopes. As an Installer, you will work under the direction of our Lead Installer and Installation Manager to complete installations correctly, safely, and to Henselstone standards. This is a great opportunity to learn a specialized trade and grow with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Install windows and doors as part of the installation crew
• Follow direction from the Lead Installer and Installation Manager
• Follow shop drawings, Henselstone procedures and manufacturer requirements
• Unload, move and handle heavy and fragile materials with care
• Keep the job site clean, organized and safe
• Assist with punch list work and service trips as needed
• Report problems or damage on site to the Lead Installer
• Represent Henselstone professionally around customers and builders

Qualifications:

• Capability of heavy lifting
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• Reliable and on time
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel

Desired Skills:

• Basic carpentry skills
• Experience in glazing
• Ability to operate man lifts, booming forklifts, etc.
• No fear of heights, as installers will be required to climb ladders
• Reading and understanding of blueprints and shop drawings
• Attention to detail and thorough workmanship

NOTE: This position requires working outdoors and will be subject to all temperature ranges including extreme heat and cold.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime as needed

Experience:

• Construction or installation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
