Duties

• Measure and interpret construction plans to ensure accurate installation of windows, doors, and fixtures.
• Handle glass and wood materials safely during fabrication, transportation, and installation to prevent damage and ensure quality.
• Use hand tools and power tools to install window frames, door hangings, trim carpentry, caulking, and fixture mounting with precision.
• Perform dimensional measurements for quality control to guarantee proper fit and function of installed components.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when transporting large glass panels or heavy door units on-site.
• Interpret construction estimating documents and detail specs to determine material needs and installation procedures.
• Conduct remodeling tasks including framing or fixture installation as needed.

Skills

• Proven remove and replace experience with a focus on window and door installation or related carpentry work.
• Strong knowledge of accurate measurements, adjustments, and installation procedures.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment.
• Experience with glass and wood materials handling, window and door installation techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during measurements and quality checks.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and working from construction plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting on-site challenges.
