Window Cleaner

Window Cleaner / Exterior Cleaning Operative – Previous window cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

We're primarily looking for someone reliable, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. A good attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work independently are more important to us than previous experience.

Pay: From £13.50 per hour, with opportunities to increase based on performance.

Hours: 25+ hours per week, typically across 4-5 working days, with opportunities for additional hours.

Overview

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our established window cleaning and exterior cleaning business based in Thanet.

Previous window cleaning experience is not essential. We're more interested in your attitude, reliability and willingness to work.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, talking to customers, staying active and managing their own day without being constantly supervised.

Full training will be provided for the right person.

The Role

• Window cleaning using professional water-fed pole systems.
• Domestic and commercial window cleaning.
• Gutter clearing and other exterior cleaning services.
• Completing a scheduled daily workload efficiently and to a high standard.
• Driving a company van between jobs.
• Working independently once fully trained.

Pay & Hours

• Starting pay of £13.50 per hour.
• Opportunities for pay increases as skills and responsibilities develop.
• Minimum 25 hours per week.
• Typically 4-5 working days per week.
• Additional hours may be available as workload increases.

How the Role Works

We believe in working efficiently, maintaining high standards and getting the job done properly.

Some days are lighter and others more demanding. The workload varies depending on the jobs scheduled.

There's no unnecessary micromanagement. Once you're trained and confident, you'll be trusted to manage your daily round and get on with the work.

When the day's scheduled work is completed efficiently, there's the opportunity to finish earlier.

We work outdoors throughout the year, including during rainy and colder weather where conditions are safe.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Capable of carrying out physical, manual work.
• Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year.
• Good timekeeping and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow company procedures.
